Part-Time Nanny Needed ~ Barrington, RI

A family in Barrington is seeking a part time after school nanny for their three girls ages 10, 8 and 4 beginning ASAP. The schedule needed is Monday-Friday from 2pm-6pm. They can also do a 1pm-6pm schedule if the person is open to some household help. Responsibilities will include helping with homework, some local driving to kid’s activities, kids laundry, kids dinner and light cleaning (primarily making the kids clean their messes). The family likes the girls to be active and get outside so a nanny who prioritizes outdoor play/activities is a must! The girls have had nanny’s in the past and enjoy having an older female to look up to. The mom is Dominican and speaks Spanish so they’d love a Spanish speaking nanny to help the girls learn Spanish but it’s not a requirement. Nanny should have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving her own vehicle with the girls (milage reimbursement will be provided). Pay is $30-$35/hr.

A busy family in East Greenwich is seeking a full time, long term nanny beginning by March 30th. They can be flexible on start date too for someone who may want to start sooner. The family has four children ages 4, 2 and 4 month old twins. The older two children are in full time daycare so the majority of the care will be for the twins. The schedule needed is Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm with some flexibility required. The mom is home full time so the nanny will work as a partner with her to be an extra set of hands and be dedicated to the care of the twins. The parents will be managing the older two boys so the nanny will be responsible for just the twins. They are looking for a fun and laid back nanny who has professional experience caring for twins, and is experienced when it comes to infant milestones, nap training, etc. The family values consistency, communication and a calm, nurturing childcare approach. Child related tasks only are expected; bottles, laundry, tidying play areas etc. The family spends a lot of time at the beach club in the summer so they’d love someone who is comfortable around water and comfortable watching children around water. Nanny must be CPR certified. Pay is $30-$33/hr.

Flexibility for overtime hours with advance notice would be appreciated (staying 30 mins-1 hour later in the evening for example). Occasional night or weekend babysitting would also be great but not mandatory. The family is looking for a caring, engaging, and enthusiastic nanny who will prioritize their daughter's wellbeing and provide her with attention and care. They would like someone who will be hands on with her to encourage her growth and development and someone who will partner and collaborate with them to provide the best care possible through her different stages and needs. The schedule needed will be M-F, 6-8 hours each day / 35-40 hours a week. From May-September, they will need the nanny to work late on Wednesday evenings as they race sailboats during those months. Responsibilities will include watching the infant while mom is working from home/on calls, handling baby laundry, washing bottles, and helping get the infant on a schedule.
