Newborn Night Nannies / Overnight Newborn Care

We place night nannies for full time and part time. A night nanny will come to your home usually between the hours of 9/10pm-6/7am. It could be 2-3 nights a week or for 5-7 nights a week. Most night nannies can be pretty flexible. A night nanny is wonderful to have if you’re a first time parent and need someone to show you the ropes of taking care of your newborn and helping with a sleep schedule or if you are a new parent of multiples! With this option you'll get a full night’s sleep. Average hourly rate of $30-$40 an hour + depending on the candidates experience and certifications.

Live-In or Live-Out Nannies

A live-in nanny is a nanny that generally works 40+ hours a week and lives in your home. A live-in nanny must have their own bedroom and own bathroom. Most live-in nannies live in a separarte part of the house (separate floor, finished basement suite or guest house). A live-in nanny has a set schedule; they are NOT a 24-hour caregiver. Most families prefer a live-in if they have the extra space and/or may need a nanny for odd or long hours.

A live-out nanny would be a perfect choice for a "typical" family. A full-time, live-out nanny would generally work 30-50 hours a week and a part-time nanny would generally work between 15-30 hours per week.

The average hourly rate for these type of care providers in Rhode Island as of 1/1/22 is between $20-$30+ an hour.

Household Manager

Household managers keep the day-to-day operations of a home running smoothly. They are the planners, coordinators, and helpers for today’s busy families. Large households with complicated scheduling needs, or smaller families who want to focus on spending more time with their children or career professionals who need to devote an enormous amount of time towards their business will discover an invaluable ally in a private household manager. Leave the stress of your successful business at your workplace. You can devote yourself to your loving family and beautiful home – and pass off its upkeep to your personal household manager.  Average hourly rate is $30.00-$40.00 an hour +.
